Colin Millward is a project manager, consultant and trainer with twenty five years in the information technology (IT) and business/financial systems field. In Asia, Europe and the United States he has provided design, integration and implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other IT systems for large, complex organisations. In the last ten years as project manager and principal consultant he has run and contributed to substantial projects for:

Dylan Staal Group as project manager running a co-located team in the Netherlands and Singapore, to design and implement new business processes and pilot an ERP replacement project with associated systems integration
NPower in the UK as project manager running a team to design and implement revisions to the systems and business processes of their major business accounts division
ADP in the US as project lead to implement ERP systems upgrades and introduce substantial new functionality with associated business process changes
Liberty Mutual Insurance in the US as principal consultant running a team to design and construct interface solutions to integrate multiple legacy systems online
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the United States implementing a mainframe accounts receivable financial solution.

He has also provided consultancy, expertise, team leadership and management at British Telecom, the UK Inland Revenue, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Cathay Pacific Airways, Securicor, Abbey National Bank, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Hawker Pacific, Citibank, SG, Singapore Institute of Management, Hong Kong Management Associations and more than twenty other organisations. In addition he has held responsibility over many years for technical account management, engagement management and regional business development for major software companies Elevon and QSP.

Colin holds an advanced master’s certification in applied project management from Villanova University, is a PMP® (Project Management Professional) with the Project Management Institute and is a member of the Institute of Management Information Systems (IMIS) and the Asia Professional Speakers Association.

He is an established presenter and trainer on project management methods and IT technical and application issues and uses a powerful combination of knowledge, enthusiasm and humour to build and retain motivated project teams of productive people.
